- the likelihood that it might rub other memebers the wrong way
(a call made easier by the fact that the post contained no hard facts was intended for entertainment purposes which means it was misposted in the NEWS section in the first place as it should probably have been in the Cafe.)

That's about what I expected to hear! - Thanks jdanstan for these words. The joke was definitely news about the HVX 200 and won't work offtopic. And I'm sorry that you couldn't read it - it had nothing to do with politics, just funny news and TRUE words but hard to accept (as reality sometimes is...). The message was that we still have to wait for the HVX and I think this is just too much for some people. I'm sorry. By the way: I have to wait much longer, as I'll have to buy the PAL version.... and I will cry with you all for this, as soon as I find the time. (stop joking Cici! - this is serious!).
I think your explanation will fit very much with the unpronounced thoughts of the moderators and so I just accept your explanation as THE intended reason for deleting my thread (not post!). And of course a moderator has the right to delete any word or post or thread in any moment. But I think even in the very first fora in the antique Rome, the judges used to explain whenever words have been censored. And it's up to me to accept the rules of THIS forum and one of them is, that explanations are not needed. Strange..... but ok...
