Based soley on my experience of watching Mythbusters - plausible.

Bike travelling roughly the same speed as the car. Inertia, momentum and all that. Similar to the one where they drove a car into a moving truck. May still be a setup but the motorcycle only had about as much warning as the minimum reaction time and the car failed to indicate.

We should petition Jamie to give it a go.

Saw that on Facebook yesterday. Was actually thinking of it while stuck in traffic today. That is amazing.
