Optical Ground Glass
Thanks IG and thanks for buying lots of our stuff. We do offer the same ground glass to the public that we developed for our adapter. to simple things up we offer it in a 110 mm diameter and a center hole of 15mm to fit nicely on a standard CD or DVD spindle and inside a Radio Shack project box.
It's not cheap at $60 but I know how difficult it is to make plastic ground glass and I believe it's virtually impossible to make a properly working GG out of plastic. The refractive index plays a big part when understanding the difference between glass and plastic. Oh! and the glass is reverse side coated like IG mentioned for minimal internal reflections.
