Why Does the UK have to WAIT Longer For the Hvx200?

Why do us Brits have to wait a further 2 months for the God Damn Camcorder? That sucks and blows at the same time. I guess "all good things comes to those that wait".

I can't believe Panasonic would release mis-information regarding the release date for the PAL model. Their web sites both UK and US say shipping Nov/Dec 05'. If I'd known what the UK release date was, I'd have kept my mouth shut selling the Frickin Thing.

Still sucks!

Ummm.... they didn't release mis-information.

Features, Pricing & Information subject to change without notice - they put phrases like that on their advertisements for a reason. The release date has alway been a projected date and not a definitive one.

Agreed. The engineering is done, and so are the chips (both Pal and Ntsc cameras where working and on display at IBC.) So what's with the delay??? WE NEED THE CAMERA ASAP! No descrimination !!!

Don't worry, In Montréal (Canada), I received a confirmation that the HVX100 will be available only in February 2006...
