I posted this over at creative cow and baffled everyone.
You can use grouping and switches to lock your audio and your video. You can use "lock envelopes to events" to lock your envelopes to events when you move them. But for gosh sakes isn't there SOME way to lock the volume envelopes so that you can't move the points up and down so that it doesn't happen accidentally?
Example: I have two audio events seperated on a timeline. Each event has multiple points in the volume envelope. Even though the audio events are LOCKED I can still drag the points in the volume envelope up and down. If I move one audio event closer to the other with "lock envelopes to events" turned on, then the volume envelope will move up and down in relation to how close it is to the next audio event.
