Why Canadians Are So Tired

For a couple years I've been blaming it on lack of sleep, being on set 16 hours a day and on DVXuser.com the other 8, not enough sunshine, too much popcorn, ear wax build-up, poor blood or anything else I could think of.

Now I've found out the real reason I'm tired -- because I'm overworked........Here's why:

The population of Canada is 30 million. 11 million are retired, that leaves 19 million to do the work.

There are 5.5 million in school, which leaves 13.5 million to do the work.

Of this there are 3 million employed by the federal government, leaving 10.5 million to do the work.

1 million are in the armed forces, preoccupied with killing Terrorists, which leaves 9.5 million to do the work.

Take out 7 million people who work for Provincial and city Governments, and that leaves 2.5 million to do the work.

At any given time, there are 476,000 people in hospitals, leaving 2,024,000 to do the work.

Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons and 812,000 on Employment Insurance and Welfare.

That leaves just two people to do the work.

You and me.

And there you are sitting on your butt, at your computer, on DVXuser.com reading jokes.

Nice.

Real nice.

Quebec doesn't count for any of the above.. those whackjobs are too busy speaking french and trying to figure out how to be thier own country.

That hurts! Besides, it's only a minority that think that way. And what's wrong with speaking French? Although I don't believe in the separatist movement, I understand the sentiment and rational behind it. And that is something most English speaking-only non-Quebecers will most likely never understand.

Don't take this the wrong way! I'm just so damn tired of this issue and the ignorance on both side concerning this whole thing. Each time I hear comments like yours, as a French-speaking Canadian, it infuriates me. Stop thinking that Quebec only wants to separate. If it were the case then Quebec would have separated a long time ago. But both referendums failed... What does that tell you?

So let's just get along, and drink beer. :)

Maybe if you spent less time in the tub with that lovely thing, you'd have more energy to deal with Canada's bigger issues. I get tired just looking at h... uh, well...

I need a tissue.

Whenever I'm "seen" in Canada I try to contribute to the tourism revenue. It's a thankless job and doesn't pay all that much (I had to lower my personal appearance fees when I ate the birthday girl at the last party I booked.)

So I guess there is one person working and one volunteering, but hey, at least you're getting paid Jarred, I can't afford pants or a razor. Which I'm telling you, if I bought a razor, you'd want me to buy pants... no joke, it's not pleasant.

Mr. Squatch

Sorry, Mr. Squatch. You're right, that was just an unfortunate incident that happened many years ago. I feel it's about time we forgive and forget. No harm, no foul.

I was only trying to cone up with a nickname, and now I know Sause Crotch was a bad idea. You're right Terry it's been holding me back for years now.

Also if anyone say's "Mmmm... sause crotch" I'm gonna puke!

Hey Flintstone, don't be hurt, they just trying to get an identity over there. Beside, where is going the Canadian cinema ? Any good movies since some years ? Not that much. The only cinema going well in Canada is right here in Montreal, (C.R.A.Z.Y., Aurore, Elles Étaient Cinq, Le Dernier Tunel, Monica La Mitraille, Mémoire Affective, Ce Qu'il Reste de Nous, etc...) I mean not only technician for big American productions, but their own cinema, with their soul. My 2 cents.

Hey Jarred, Be carefull when you talking about Quebec, when you don't really know anything about it.

So, I think there is still a lot of work waiting to be done.

ha ha ha ha.. yeah Combine Manitoba and Montana and I dont think they would even notice.

HAHAHAHA! Living in Montana that is really amusing =D.

You might have some trouble with the Montana Militia though... bunch of crazy guys who already spend enough time fighting (literally) the US government! If it were up to them Montana would be it's own country by now ;).

Oh boy I think i pissed off some quebec people.. no offense was taken, and your right, I dont know anything about quebec so its not my personal opinion, I have no problem with you guys, Everyone else in Canada does for some reason so go ***** them out.

Hey is it true that there are no speed limits in Montana?
