Another reason why they control is that after 5 minutes, they bloody ache holding them up. I was on camera interviewing an MP and he just kept going on and we ended up having to split the interview into 2 because my m8t just could not hold the boom up for 20minutes. Also he was the first MP to say that he did not want to wear a tye mic.
