who's using FCP HD with Tiger?

Just finishing an FCP project in Panther, and wondering if it's OK to reinstall in Tiger for the next one?

Tiger works well with FCP but if your upgrading from panther to Tiger I would read this article it may help http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/installing_tiger.html.

Helpful article, although my case is a little different. I have a second HD in my Mac, with Tiger already installed there. So it would (hopefully) just be a matter of reinstalling FCP on that drive. Of course, whenever you think something will be simple....

I'm running FCP 4.5 on Tiger with no problems... I did, of course, do an erase an install when I installed Tiger.

I'm running FCP 5 on Tiger with no problems.
I also did a clean install though - not an upgrade.

The only thing to consider is the that the "Pro Application Support" is different for Panther and Tiger. As long as you do a clean install and then use software updates to download the updates you will be fine.

don't use any old downloaded updates, use software updates.
