Who's More Famous Than Jack?

Minor celebs? Like who have you meant/know? Well... CSI filmed at my house... I met the entire cast. Spoke with the director for awhile, and spoke with William Peterson for a while about my philosophy of editing (he probably was really bored by the conversation, but he was filming at my house, so I had his attention!) haha! I guess I have never been in anything with someone else, but I've met a few people here and there.

BTW: Jack's still way more famous. He's down with Denzel... that's tight!

I love that show! What episode is that, briceman?

It was the episode called CCCHANGES... about the transvestites... The clinic was our house. I wish we would have read the script before letting them shoot it there... it's a really graphic (in language and dialogue) episode... watch at your own risk... (It was episode 100, so we got these cool cast/crew t-shirts that the craft service guy had made! Very collectible!)

I think I just saw that one.... The doctor who does the illegal surgeries, right?
Very cool.

They're outside having the roundtable discussion with the he/she doctor. That's your house?

Yep...that's my house... they also show the exterior when Brass and Grissom walk up to it. And they used interiors too...

(Oh, just so you know, it's really my parents house, I couldn't afford such a nice place, LOL! But I do live there. They got a nice check for like 6k for them using the house for two days.)

Yeah, I saw the episode! Cool, I been in yo crib! :)

How did they even come to see about using the house? Are you listed somehow as avail for locations?

You know... the guy just happened to spot it. It is on a large property. We weren't in any database until CSI filmed there... then the next week a dude from the show Las Vegas pulls up and asks to use the house. My parents like CSI so they let them film there, but don't like Las Vegas, so... no go for them... I've taken advantage of a nice setup there (there are three houses on the property, which is 6 acres). Many cool different rooms and stuff. Anyway, there's the story.

Briceman, that CSI story is very cool. I bet you all got a huge kick out of that!

I'm in no way more famous than anyone else here (in reference to the thread title), but I was in a theater production of Cyrano de Bergerac with this guy, Tony Amendola, back in 2001.

He played Cyrano :) And did a great job, too. He's mostly a TV guy, but does (or did) a lot of theater as well.

I've seen him in Zorro, Stargate and Alias. Not sure exactly what else he's done.

Only "celebrity" I've ever come into contact with :)

Very interesting. I dont think location scouts would be coming to our door unless they were filming something for "Ho's in the Hood" or "Got Crack?" :furious3: I just keep telling myself that Hell has many stages and there's nowhere to go but up. :)

kimko is not SAG for sitting on his bum, don't know his real name other than Kim to imdb him

and yeah, Alvarez has done way more than me

I'm not even on IMDB at all

I just got lucky because of where I live(d) and the tax incentives they get for using local actors

but most famous is PK

A whole country knows him.

"You MR PK from the television" :)

I'm pretty famous, if you count a 30 second appearance on some local news channel when I went gold-panning in Jamestown.
Yeah...mm hmm.
So, not I.
