Who needs a quad-copter when you can FLY LIKE A BIRD?

Even if it was real, I see nothing impressive here..... He basically flew or should I say glide for 100 meters as he said.... In what an open field? Do that flight over a cliff then I will be impressed....

There's a reason why every human powered aircraft has involved some sort of alternative mechanism (like pedals) to power the wings.

The story on this includes the building of a motor, powered by an Android phone that I assume they got from Virgin Mobile. I'm not sure why they even had him move his wings in the video.

Hoax, so much hoax. Surprised any one thought it was anything other than a hoax. Remember the mini dock about the guys running across water? Same deal. Just marketing companies trying stuff on.

The real topic of discussion here should be how, why, how effective is it and how can this be useful. I'm really impressed with how well this one has taken off, and with how elaborate the history of the project is. They planned it for a while and sold it well, which is a new level for these viral campaigns. Or at least beyond the average. I like how they haven't told anyone what's up yet, letting this take on a life of its own for a while. My vote is still for Virgin as the sponsor.
