Who needs a DVX?

No person needs a DVX. It is a Consumer Model made in Plastic. (Mounting Stud1/4 Whitworth, often fails)
Most people try to change every thing about the DVX. I can't understand why someone would buy one. Talk to any DVX user and all they can think of is how to change it! 35 mm Adapters, you name it, they buy it and then spend the rest of their lives trying to change it!.

Actually, the casting of it mostly magnesium. Not only is this guy a troll, he's a woefully misinformed one at that.

What is the argument? Under 100k is not pro? You are a very simple dude...
 
In most cases posts like this come from some kid who uses a Hi-8 cam and is just jealous of better gear that for some reason he can't get. But you don't have to worry about me being a member of the DVX army. I got one because it was the best cam I could afford. Simple as that. I never understand blind loyalty and I don't think anybody else around here is getting DVX tattoos either. I may have something other then a DVX or HVX if another cam comes out with better features at the same price.

So far nobody has (although I would like an XL2 almost as much)...

Nobody with a 1/2" or 2/3" chip cam would come to a place like this just to kick up dust.

Only a kid with a $300 cam and a head full of jealousy comes around with that sort of attitude. Honestly I don't know why you'd say to come back in a week... the milk will still be bad.
