who knows of free program to convert .mov to .wmv

I'm trying to convert a 5 min quicktime movie to a window medias file. I have the trial version of flip4mac but it only does 30 seconds worth. I hardly ever need to do this so its hard to justify buying the upgrade. Are there any free programs that will do what I need. I'm on a G5 mac 10.4.11.

Actually, quicktime pro won't do that. At least not on a mac. You need the upgrade for flip4mac.
 
Check out Visual Hub if you're on a mac - which since you have a .mov you probably are.

This does some really good compression and you can buy it outright for $23. I believe there is a trial version to test it first, but it compresses nicely and pretty fast into many different formats. I use it along with Compressor - just depends on what I need for output.
