My wife drug me into facebook kicking and screaming last year (I always liked the personalization factor of myspace better.) Now that I see all you cats are there, it suddenly ain't so bad.

Facebook is a LOT better than Myspace. Myspace got to the point where it drove me nuts.

Don't get me wrong, I have slowly grown an appreciation for facebook (I dig the movie trivia and a few other mindless time-killers) but-
I think that if the profiles on facebook were a tad less sterile/uniform (and more individualized)...myspace would be blown outta the water.

Myspace has gotten a lot better recently... Now it shows who's online, friend's updates, etc.

I know. I keep getting friend requests from people with names I don't recognize, but their pics have cams in them.
At this rate, I'm going to have a few dozen friends that look just like me. Geeks with giant rigs.

hey ya i have been adding a lot of dvx users to facebook in the past few days, and i'll admit, i've requested a few friendships soley based on seeing that we have mutual dvx friends already. i feel kinda like a friend whore, but i LOVE having friends that are into film.
almost none of my friends here are into it and it's gonna be really great to have people to ask for advice and comment on each others videos and stuff like that. plus it makes me look more popular. heh.

i hear ya. my girlfriend is into it, but the rest of my friends don't care too much. alone in my crowd, so to speak.
