Who actually owns a steadicam jr?

Hey guys I know this has been talked about but my wife just bought me a steadicam jr as a gift and im concerned about the weight limit. Just wanted some opinions on how well it works being alittle "heavy" for the jr.

It has not shipped yet and I would cancel the order if I had some insight to the weight limit issue.

Without addons ie: wide angle len's, matte box etc, it's right at the edge, but will work quite well for you.

I don't see a problem.

I will not have any of that on there. Just starting out and wanted to clean up some of my shooting.

with or without accessories, I think you may need a weight/counterbalance. definitely ask about that if you haven't.

It's not a DVX, it's a Sony, but it gives you an idea of what the JR can work with.

Very cool thanks pookie for the insight. Im really excited to practice with the jr, than work my way up.
