White Water Rafting

Today I went rafting on the Chilliwack River with my dad, my brother, uncle and some friends. The weather has been really nice so the river was flooded , this was my first time doing this so I was a little freaked at first sitting through the safety procedures and sitting in the boat tied up just looking at how powerful the river was. It was pretty awesome. The water was like 3 degrees C so it was pretty cold. Going through those rapids was one of the coolest thing i've done in a long time, a couple of the guys almost went over and getting nailed by a wall of water was intense. Kinda surreal just crusing along this river, when the river did slow down just looking around at your surroundings was awesome.

My Dad has always wanted to do this and hasn't been able to cos of his knees, he just had reconstructive knee surgery like 3 months ago and decided to come out and visit us, pretty awesome seeing the old man go down the river with us.

What a blast.

White Water Rafting is awesome! I have been on the French Broad and the Nantahala here in Tennessee. You should take some kayaking classes.... that is a lot of fun.

I usually go once or twice a year. The Ocoee river is only a hour away with world-class rapids. Good times!

The Delaware River bordering NJ and PA is quite fun!

Glad to hear your father could make it after the surgury!

They had a scout on a Kayak and that looked like a ton of fun.

It's crazy just seeing how much power the river has, you could hear large rocks tumbling on the bottom of the river, that was a little freaky at first.

I'm definetely going again this summer.
