How do I create white stroke around my clips. I know how to do it in Photoshop or AE but I can't find the tool in PPro. All I see is brush stroke but this tool affect the entire clip not edges. Also how do I undo razor cut after saved the file. Later on if you open the file and you decided not to have razor cut in that clipand you want merge them, is this possible?
Thanks

Are you looking for a solid stroke or something more jagged and brush-like?

As far as the razor question, no you can't undo a razor once you have saved and closed it. The only options you have are looking through your auto-save files and see if you can find one that was saved before you made the original razor. You also have a move tool in premiere where you can move a cut around on a clip, so that might work for you too.

Hi cecil995,
I am looking for solid white stroke. Kinda polaroid stroke on still image.
I was wondering about the razor cut. Yes, I know about move tools in Premiere Pro.

What I do for white frames on video: Create a white box in photoshop, then bring that box into premiere. layer the video clip over the white box on the timeline, then size the clip and box to whatever size you want the stroke to be.

You could also create a white matte in premiere, but I noticed that if you apply motion to it, the edges get jagged, so that problem seems to not happen when you do the box in photoshop ( with a razterized box).

Hi Cecil995,
Yes, I know how to do it from Photoshop or in AE. I could bring my work to Premiere pro from AE or Photshop. I was just wondering if there is preset or simplest way in Premiere Pro.
But thanks for your time

If you have to do it for many shots, then you can create your own position keyframe and scale presets. Let's say there are 4 videos that needs to be layered in one shot. Adjust the scaling and the position of each to the desired values, and then right click on the Motion tab and Save Presets. Now you can just drag the 4 presets on to any other videos that you need in the same positions.

To undo a razor cut just delete part of the razored clip and drag the other part out to fit the same duration.

Shooter - i was actually looking for this kinda thing once too, the problem with using titler is if you want the clip to resize (for instance in a photo-montage), then you have to scale that too .. unless you stick it in a different sequence, doesnt make things easier.. would be nice if there was a "stroke" effect.
ah well :)

Use it in a nested sequence and then you can scale and motion the image with frame anywhere you wanted.
