Advise your audio guy to stay away...not because it's scary but because it's not worth the money. There are a few cheap scares, but it's clumsily written (the story still makes no sense to me...the plot "twists" only confuse instead of elucidating). The direction is okay (the guy loves his shallow depth of focus...many rack focus shots) but there are a few goofy camera moves that jump out at you, and he cuts between wide and close up in a way that is disorienting.
I love cheesy horror movies, but this one was pretty boring. I dunno....I've seen stuff that's a lot worse, but this is strictly rental-quality material at best. If the story made any sense or the scares weren't cheap and predictable I'd recommend it, but it's not good. The idea is a rip off of the sixth sense, the ring, and uhh...well...a lot of stuff, besides.

Damn, is it really that bad? Horror movies don't scare me anymore. The thing that scares me the most is women with arm pit hair. Why? She was good looking too.
I will prob go see this one with my daughter. She loves scary movies but I am too much of a wimp, so if this one scared a few people and disappointed a few others, then maybe it is just right for me. heh!
I woke up and then stayed that way beyond the normal fractional window of go back to sleep time. The gears in my brain had JUST enough time to engage. But the world is sleeping here right now, even the hookers and dealers are settled in, snug in their beds...somewhere. ;D
I had th eopportunity to see it with some firends, but decided to stay home and watch some Fellini instead. There is nothing more dispicable than the modern day horror film. They all look alike and they are all ****. I was forced to see saw with my sister and it was so goddamn bad I actually thought of going Travis Bickle all over the movie theatre. Just not my cup of tea.
Yeah, I saw it....nothing like I thought it would be. It did give me a headache, though, with all the "snow" on the tv sets. The opening credits almost killed me.
