White line at top of screen?

I recently burned a DVD of a project I edited. When I playback my timeline everything is perfect. However, when I watch the same project on a portable DVD player about 3 minutes into the project this white line appears at the very top of the screen. Its not as thick as a letterbox line but sort of looks like it. There is no such line at the bottom of the screen. Thinking that it was just a bad DVD, I first checked my timeline to see if anything was wrong and I didn't notice the line. So I burned another DVD and played it on a DVD player and sure enough it is there again! I have no idea how it got there and how to delete it because it is not showing up in my timeline. By the looks of it, I am going to have to end up letterboxing my whole project to cover up the line.

Nooooooooooooooo, don't crop it!

I am sure this response is too late for you now! I had the same problem. It is a marker.

You probably, perhaps by accident, added a marker somewhere along the timeline. If you go to menu br into "Mark" and then "Markers" then choose "Delete all" it should deal with the problem.

I hope that helps, and I hope it is not too late. My guess is you've already figured it out!

Wow I learned something from a trainee! LOL! Its all good yea its to late which is okay. I just letterboxed the end of the video to cover that white line up. I figured I hit something to get it up there. I thought maybe it was the picture in picture. After I did the P-in-P, is when I noticed it.

I think it was Jarred who said that if Speilberg joined the site today, he'd be a trainee, too.

More proof that the ranking thing doesn't mean as much as it seems  ;D

Oh yeah I can't wait any longer, its what I having been really wanting in life...just a platinum membership to DVXuser...ok..LOL..I'm kidding...a joke..I don't really care :)

I'd recommend in general always exporting with the "DVD Studio Pro" markers setting... this seems to eliminate any stray markers you may have left in the project which DVDSP/Compressor doesn't properly handle.
