hi folks.
i am having some conflicting ideas about this crucial technique in cinematography and would love to hear your thoughts.
i know its good to white balance and i have been doing it thru'
but it occured that what if i put a white piece of paper undeer lets say a sodium vapor street lamp. obviously it appears yellow to the naked eye. if i were to white balance, it then means the camera may push its RGB towards the blue part of the spectrum.
well the paper appeared white but then i realized that i had recorded what wasnt true!!!
would love to hear authorities of this issue help me put to rest my self doubts.
