White balance problem

my A and B settings on the dvx100a are always giving me that bluish tint. I tried white balancing on pretty much eveerything there is and it won't change. The only time I'm able to change it is at night, but during the day, I can't get anything but blue so I always have to use the preset. Anyone knows why ?

Don't really know what it could be. You could try to fool the white balance by using a slightly blue paper to white balance on (or buy warm cards). I think that should do the trick...Good luck!

You're focusing on a real white object (card, even a t-shirt), and it's filling most of the frame, if not all of it?

Could you have set the colour temperature to a + number ?

If it is +, you will have a bluish tint, if negative, then u'll have a warmer look.

But u said you can get it correctly at night....:undecided ...so dun really know what's the problem.

^^you got it !!! I put my color temp to -1 and -2 today and when I white balanced the shots were more kid of orange (the colors were so warm). Thanks !
