White balance and 50% grey

Hey

I have some questions about white balance and post correcting.

In, for example, Final Cut Pro you can choose the 3-way color corrector. Here there are 3 eye-dropper tools, one for blacks, mids and whites.
I have read that the mids eye-dropper tool should be used on 50% grey.

So is there a white, grey(50%) and black card you can record on your videocam, to use in post?

Photographers have a tool like this:
http://www.lastolite.com/tribalance.php
I have read that the grey on this is 18%.

So do videographers have a similar tool, just with a 50% grey instead of 18%, so you have something for your 3 eye-dropper tools in post?
And perhaps with a white on the other side for custom white balance.

Best regards
Lars

The 18% 'grey' card is the 50% point... never mind the 18%... I believe when shooting the 18% grey card, it registers about 45-50 IRE, out of 100...
