I've been through it and I'm lucky enough to still be here - although I have a lot of permanent damage.
This is some **** man, you know?
That you with the glasses? Those are the most compelling parts of this piece to me.
We've all seen really "great" shots of suffering faces, but the world is inundated with those. People REALLY revealing themselves verbally is much less common....and probably more needed.
Many of the people I went through treatment with didn't make it. So much of their stories died with them.

Agree - powerful visuals - and tastefully done. Obviously a very personal journey. And I wish you well and good health.
At this stage of the game, I can't imagine there are any left who haven't been touched by cancer. But certainly we all need reminding there are those who are on the front lines every single day.
