The Marantz 670 offers three types of sound files: PCM, MP2, and MP3. Which would be best for combining with a FCP project?

You should probably never use any of the compressed formats if you can avoid it. (the MPs) Uncompressed PCM wave would be cleaner.

The PCM setting should make the audio be automatically saved as a .wav file.

EDIT: according to the brochure I have for the 670, it will record WAV and Broadcast WAV (whatever the heck that is).  PCM is WAV, and FCP better accept it...no one owuld use it, otherwise.
