I've got some 24p 100A footage on some Panny MQ tapes that I need to capture to my hard drive. I don't have access to the 100A, only a Sony trv22, I've heard it's ok to use other brands for this purpose. However, if I want to clean the heads of the sony before/after, do I use the Sony brand head cleaner because the camera is a Sony or do I use the Panny brand head cleaner because the tapes are panasonic? I'm more concerned about the tapes getting messed up (the footage is unrecoverable) than the camera.
