Which Render output should I use for an HBO premier?

This is going to sound a little flaky but I have a Director that found me through a friend and wants me to edit a film for him using vegas. This will be premiered in December. I would like to know since he gave me all .mov files what I could get the best footage quality wise if I render it. Thanks

HBO's delivery specs are going to tell you what tape to output to (probably HDCAM SR), what info needs to be on the slate, QC requirements, split audio configurations (stereo, 5.1 tracks, M&E, etc) order in which to layout audio tracks, requirements for the texted and textless passes). there's a lot to be aware of.

Thanks, I wonder if this guy even knows. This is a first for me. Thanks again zak.
BTW...he is bringing the raw footage to me .mov.

Zak, If possible is there maybe short detail instructions you can guide me how to do this in case the Director wants me to do this myself

Ok, Im just editing the video with cuts and titles. A little hard because the Audio was caught with recorder so I have to look and sync it. Each interview has about at least 100 videos and I have to cut each one into 10 minutes. Is there a render settings I should use for this to go to HBO. I have all .mov files except for the audio.Thank you

Again you will need to refer to HBO. There are audio out requirements as well as delivery formats. You must know these before you can export.

Id put it back on the director (whom I assume in this case is also a producer) to get this information however.
