Which Nikon Lenses for 35mm Adapter

I'm wondering if there is a specific Nikon lense I should get for a 35mm adapter? Will any type work? Which ones have been tested and been easy to use?

Also, what price range should I look at for a used one?

50mm 1:1.4; 28-105 1:2.8; maybe a super wide e.g. 17mm (?) at 1:2.8

This will get you every shot you need.

I hear to get manual focus. I don't know too much about Nikon lenses, but do all Nikon lenses fit the M2? I'm seeing some lenses on e-bay that say they aren't AI or won't fit AI and there's AF, AF-S, and VR. What kind of Nikon lense should I get that will fit the M2?

My Redrock M2 just arrived on Tuesday. I started with a 50mm f1.4, manual focus. You can usually find them on eBay for less than $100.
