Which net do I use?

I'm going to shoot at noon tomorrow and I need a net to filter the hard sunlight.
Do I go for a black or white net?
What are the cheapest solutions?
I don't have time to build anything.

Sorry I got this late, it all depends on how much you want to cut it and what kind of separation you may want for the shot. Also how much space are we talking here? You could try using a grid cloth diffuser or a silk, the size depends on whether you are doing C/U, MED or WIDE/MASTER shots. Also keep in mind that nets, grids and silks are either half a stop or a full stop or more if you use them in conjunction with one another.
