Which model?

Stye in my eye
Hi, I'm very impressed with results I've seen from the DVX, and I want to purchase one, but I'm tight on cash. So what I was thinking is that I could possibly buy the original DVX100 second hand for a lower price than the newer models fo the camera, but my question is, what significant differences are there between the newer models and the older one that might make paying more money for the newer models worthwhile, for lack of a better word? Is there a major flaw with the original, is it still a decent camera, what's better about the newer models, etc.? I want to make sure I make the right decision in purchasing this fine camera.

Thanks in advance.

Also, I don't know if I should put it in the same topic, but I wanted to sell my Canon GL2 to help fund the DVX, and it's in great working and cosmetic condiction with lots of accessories (carry case, lenses, filters, batteries, etc.) with about 100 hours of use, and I paid about $2200 all together, purchased in June, but of course used is used. What price would I possibly be able to get by selling everything together? If anyone could answer my questions, I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks again.

There wasn't any type of flaw with the original dvx that i'm aware of. For the GL2 price I would check on ebay and see what type of price they are going for.
