It's for a personal project of mine and a friend where we interview people very much so in the way we did here (don't mind the political content):

The project is one of those "who know what might become out of this?" thus has no budget and no schedule so hiring a sound man won't work at the same time i don't want to spend $60 each time i want to record audio.
The audio goes into one of those Beachtek boxes into a Canon HV20 camera so i need a mic with battery power.
My needs fall under the kit #3 from "New to audio" sticky the only difference being that most of the stuff (say 70%) will be recorded outside while the other 30% indoor.
Kit #3: Web Short Film Producer Kit
Who It's For: People putting together short films, primarily indoors, and looking to cut corners where possible to save money but still want decent results.
