which Lowel Rifa should i get?

someone that has a Lowel Rifa......

should i get a Rifa 44, 55, 66, or 88??
also, should i go with the tungsten bulb or daylight???

since i can't dim the light is 500W too much for interviews?

for interviews, seems like having both bulbs would be of great use.

Why can't you dim the light? I've got a Rifa 55 and I use the $10 Harbor Freight router dimmer and it works fine. I've used 500 watt for interview and it works fine.

As far as color temp it depends on what other lights you have. Just don't mix, but you can even color correct with gels and go either way.

I use the Rifa lights. My preference is to use one as a fill light and one as a main or key light. I found out very quickly that two 1000 watt bulbs overload lots of electrical circuits. Once I changed to 500 watt bulbs, things worked out much better. Even one 1000 watt bulb can cause problems.
