Which lenses are those?

Hello,
my father has this old SLR with two lenses. Seems all Russian.
Do you have any idea what mount this could be? Thank you.

This is a Kiev-19 camera and should have a Nikon F mount type. But I am not 100% sure about that.
Nice Helios 50 f 2.0 and Telear 200 f 3.5 there.

Hi thank your help? Is there anyway I can find out the mount on my side?
How do you know it's a Helios? Aren't those lenses with M42 mount?

It is written on the lens :)

Aren't those lenses with M42 mount?
The Helios also exists with an M42 mount, but this camera doesn't have an M42 mount. If you look at the back threads of your lenses these won't be screw mount M42 type.

You may search the web about the lens mount type of the Kiev 19 camera, or another fellow member here may confirm that this is a Nikon F mount. It would be helpful if you could post a picture of the back threads of your lenses.

Hello this is the back of the 200mm f/3.5 lens (apparently not helios ?) but by searching I'm sure they are Nikon F as you said. I'm wondering if that pin on the back that olds the aperture wide open on the film slr will be touched by the adapter? if yes than i wont be able to control aperture manually cause stuck.

ANYWAY my dad has another SLR, a Yashica 200af with the Sigma autofocus 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 attached.
I discovered that this has a Yashica mount and there are adapters out there for canon ef-s. the problem is that this has no aperture ring on the body so I suppose it's controlled by the camera body. Plus also manual focus is enabled on the body! I doubt I could able to use it on my canon? I wonder how this lens is :D

Get a cheap Nikon F to EOS adapter and test the lens. It is a Nikon mount.
The pin you are reffering to is for stop down metering? That is when you press it the aperture is stopped down to the desired value, whereas unpressed it is wide open? If yes, the adapter should take care of this. The pin should be pressed by the adapter so that the aperture can be stopped down.
The 200mm lens is a Telear 200mm f 3.5 (nice russian telephoto).

I wouldn't bother with the autofocus lenses without aperture ring if you cannot control the aperture on an EOS body.

By the way, what will you be doing of these old SLR camera bodies? If you don't need them I have a friend of mine here in Athens who would be glad if I donnated old SLR bodies to him

Hi thank you! The video flickering is kinda stopping me though cause I want autofocus confirmation.

Sorry to ask :P but you me to sell them to you or you want me to give them to you for free? Either case I need to ask my dad this weekend :)

The video flickering may not be the rule but the exception. It happened to me with one adapter. But I also have an Olympus OM to EOS with focus confirmation which doesn't have the flickering issue. So it may be a defective chip, or so...
So don't worry about that.

Regarding the camera bodies, a friend of mine is collecting this stuff and occasionally shoots stills with film.
So if these are not of any use or interest to you and you want to get rid of them, instead of letting them collect dust or throw them away, you could send to me for free (I'd pay the postage on behalf of him) so most probably they will get used again.
I am not interested in buying since it is not for personal use, and I believe my friend isn't either because he gets a lot of old SLR bodies people want to get rid off, but has already a lot of those. And of course, if you still use the cameras or intend to sell them or give them to someone else please do.

HI kostas,
I'm sorry but he doesn't wanna sell the body. He "lent" me the lenses too :S like he's ever gonna use film again

Hey kostas, I tested my adapater with the af chip and you were right. It often happens that while shooting the exposure jumps for like half second and then goes back to where it was, like if you pressed the autofocus button (shutter button half pressed). Did you find any solution on the camera beside using an adapter without chip?
