Which hard case? Getting my 100B

i'd go with the pelican. that ones nice- but the color, i dont like it. but thats not the only reason- my friend uses pelican cases and he swears by them
 
Ok I'm going with the pelican 1550 and getting it in ORANGE so I'll never mis-place my DVX!!!!

no problem. i have to recut some foam for a dvxuser battery and hoodman. :) i ordered from evs. give rush a call.
 
Nice setup Galt, very organized.

I bought a padded soft case, at a pawn shop, for 5 bucks. It looks like on old, brown, beat up, carryon bag, but it fits the camera snugly with room for the accesories in the pockets.

Most important to me, it dosnt scream 'expensive gear inside!' to anyone who sees the case
 
Pelicans are great, but I LIKE that Panasonic case! The foam is already custom-cut for your camera!!! How great is that? I think the branding is cool, too! When you walk onto the set and plunk that case down, everyone will know that your "DV Cinema DVX100" has ARRIVED! I also really like the Kata/Panasonic soft case for the current DVX. If they make a hard Panasonic case like that for the HVX, I'm gettin' one! So what if it says, "EXPENSIVE CAMERA INSIDE?" Just put your jacket over it!
