Hi

I am looking at buying a set of Sennheiser G3s for use initially in the EU (mostly Austria) and then in New Zealand, I also travel quite a lot all over the world. How do I determine which frequency band I need? I have found a good deal on a E band set, is this appropriate?

Thanks

Owen

G3 "E" band is legal all over Europe - but you must set them to the de-regulated licence-free frequency set between 863MHz and 865MHz.

This small band is legal all over Europe - and any country that is a signatory to ETSI (it's quite a large number, in and around Europe).

Band "GB" is legal in the UK and USA with a licence.

Every country has its own regulations - you may get some help by downloading the Sennheiser G3 frequency sheets, these list the countries that each band is OK for.

I hope this helps.
