Which festivals do you think are most credible and how many do you enter?

Aside from the big ones like Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Sundance etc. etc., which festivals do you aspire to being accepted by?
Also, when you've finished a piece of work you're really proud of, how many festivals will you send it to?

I normally base my festival run off my budget. So typically the average festival fee is $50 so I do about 24 festivals. And I also submit to festivals that cater to the type of film I do. For example, I recently shot a comedy so I try to enter to festivals that are comedy friendly.

one thing I do is look up indie productions similar in spirit to mine and make note of the festivals it played.
