Which companies make matteboxes for DVX100A?

Hi
Just got th camcorder and very pleased with it, ended up buying it from a camerastore in Finland that sells it for 3990€.

Now looking for mattebox with flexible sunshade, which companies make those?

Stores do not keep matteboxes in stock Finland so I desided to order one from the states. It has to have a rotating 3*3 or 4*4 filter holder for polarizing filter.

Which matteboxes do you use and are pleased with?

Century is the only one i have been able to find from here, and it has a poor sunshade.

I know this may sound very amaturish but what's the real purpose for matteboxes? Is it just to block light and hold filters?

Yes, it controls the amount of light entering the lens, helps avoid lens flairs and is used to hold filters.

And it makes your camera look more professional which serves as a placebo for snobbish clients.  ;)

Yes, sex appeal on the camera is important and attracts women.

I've been really impressed by the Petroff 4x5 mattebox...fully configurable multi-stage box...it however comes at a pretty penny.

on the cavision site, there are 4x5 matteboxes for 16:9 shooting.
If i were to use the LA-7200G, should i get that 4x5 mattebox?
