Which accessories for Rode Lavalier?

OK, final post about microphones I swear. I've had a look at the stickies and all the other posts about the Rode Lavalier, but couldn't find out the information I wanted.

I've decided to go for the Rode because it's cheaper and I'm uncertain which devices I'll be using it with. The Roland R-05 has 3.5mm mic jack, but my right-hand man has Zoom with XLR, and I might end up getting the Tascam DR40 as well... so Rode seems the best option and it sounds lovely too.

I'm just confused about what it actually comes with? Does it come with any attachment accessories for attaching to interviewees? Also, which connections does it come with, because I've read that it comes with the 3.5mm jack, but not 100% sure if it does or not? I'm assuming it doesn't come with an XLR adapter?

What accessories would you recommend buying with it to make it a complete setup?

Thanks

I was looking at the Rode the other day and I think you have to specify which adaptor you want it to be provided with at purchase.

It comes with mic clips and wind gag but if you need 3.5mm AND XLR you will have to buy as an extra whichever adaptor is additional to the one provided.

The Rode does not come with any adapter to connect to a transmitter/camera/mixer/etc. -- you'll need to buy the appropriate MiCon connectors separately. I would definitely get a MiCon-5 (XLR adapter that accepts phantom power), plus one for whatever recorder or wireless transmitter you are using. You won't be able to hook it up directly out of the box without at least one of these.

A spare microphone cable and a bag of replacement windscreens are a good investment against gear problems in the field, as well.

i would also recommend getting the longer length cable - the one you get with it is only really any good for on person wireless lav or audio recorder
