Where's the best place to post a PAID crew call? [to attract the best people]

Is there a good place to post a paid crew call to attract the best people? It's a paid crew call on a indie feature with a celeb attached in the lead. I'm willing to pay for posting it if it's a good resource that will attract the best people.

You don't know anyone in the industry?

Recommendations and other sources are a good way to go. I just finished my 105th production, and I could probably find five good people for every job on set. Most people who work consistently in the film industry could as well. If you've never worked with a crew you've liked before, I'd say find another filmmaker or producer friend who has, and have them recommend people to you.

As far as places to post, there aren't many that are fool-proof. Perhaps Mandy.com? Not the best, but it beats the joke of a site, Craigslist.

How about all of the above? If you are serious about getting qualified people, you need to throw a wide net. Once you start finding/hiring people, ask them if they know and can recommend anyone for the other openings.

People dump on Craigslist, and for good reason sometimes. But........there are great opportunities on there too. I know of some pretty major productions that list on Craigslist.

I know quite a few people in my area but I'm not in L.A. so was tempted to try to get some really talented L.A. people if at all possible. But it looks like I've networked some locally through my contacts and have found a number of great people.

I'm near LA. Honestly, there are a lot of qualified, talented people out there. The job section on DVXuser is a great resource. And, as someone said above, a good production manager is worth their weight in gold.
