Where's my remote?!

Well, I've misplaced the remote control that comes with my DVX100AP.

Yes, I looked under the bed. Nothing.

Any idea how I can get another one?

I had lost mine for months and then I found it lol, I still don't use it but it does bring me peace of mind knowing where it is. I'm sure you can order a replacement through Panasonic.
 
See, someone needs to invent a stinking beeper you can put all that crap with. Like when you page your house phone when you lose it. Have a universal remote, that you can use to page your lost remote, keys, etc.
Of course, if you lose the universal remote your screwed. Anyways, at least a tv manufacturer can put a button on the tv that pages the remote for you.

What's irritating me the most, is wanting to eliminate the onscreen verbiage from my external monitor that, I guess, is only feasible by using the remote.

Other than that, it can stay lost!

Anyone know if I can hit "DISPLAY" or whatever on the camera to make that disappear?

Look in your menu settings, I know it's in there because I had to turn it on to see that info on my external monitor.

Heh Mine came with a dead battery thats never been replaced also.
