Where's a good computer/laptop forum??

Yeah, I know... I was the one against a "computer" section here on the forums, and now I'm looking:thumbsup:

Grabbed a laptop off of a friend, and the LCD isn't working (not broken, just shows a white screen).

Any computer forums out there that may be able to help?
 
Yeah... I should have stated, it's a PC. Good thinking though, those guys may be able to help out anyway (if they don't burn my house down for asking them about a PC)

I'm a mac guy and know how it is. Only reason I got this is to trade it for a guitar I found on craigslist. The guy doesn't want to sell his guitar, only trade it for a laptop. What the F@#$ is that about??

the screen is just white ALL the time? or does it have it's moments of darkness as well? if it's just white there is something seriously wrong (like busted cables). Have you tried running a live CD on it to see if it's just an operating system issue?
