Where to print DVD's in IL or anywhere in the states? Any recommendations?

Hi guys, I'm in Canada but there is an online store located in Illinois that may be interested in selling the DVD's for my film. I figured it would be cheaper for me to have the DVD's printed in IL rather than here so I can avoid the larger shipping and duty charges.

Can anyone recommend a place in or around IL that can print the DVD's for my movie? I'm talking about standard or slim black library cases, with trapsheet and dvd art.

Or possibly it could be anywhere in the states that you think has great prices.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you Andrew! Those guys have great prices and a location in Chicago, how perfect! Have you used them before?

+1 Discmakers. They have been doing my commercial projects since 2005 and I am very happy. If you are getting over 500 discs, I would have them replicated which helps ensures DVD player compatibility. Under 500 then duplication may be the better route to go but you need to be sure to prepare your master disc properly. If this is your first DVD project then you have to decide if you want to have them do all the prep work (encoding, authoring, artwork etc.) or do that part DIY and save money but you must exactly follow their specifications. I found that orders of 1,000 DVDs in retail ready packaging is the most economical. I think my last order came out to $1.17 for each retail ready DVD.

excellent, two recommendations, seems I can't go wrong with discmakers then! I was planning on prepping the DVD myself, hopefully I can figure out how to make it playable anywhere in the world, i think region code 0 does that.. havent looked into it yet.

they are currently selling 1000 dvds for $999! AND they have poly wrap which is really great. :)

That's a really good price. Don't forget the add the UPC bar code option to your package if they are being sold by others.
