where to get press kits done and transfers to digibeta

Hey boys and girls,


Does anyone know a place to get press kits done at a reasonable rate, I contacted a few places here in Los Angeles but the minimum they are willing to do is 1000 pieces (which is way too many for one film festival) or is there an alternative, like kinkos?

And I know this question has been addressed before but I didn't find a definitive answer, Has anyone transfered dv to digibeta here in Los Angeles or anywhere in the western US and got good results? any places you guys recommend?

i gota guy in NC that does it for pretty cheap, but i dont know if its that cheap for other people, or just my guys. how many copies are you looking to get done?

I'm also interested in hearing about costs for DV->DigiBeta transfer. Also, what is generally included in a press kit?
 
Hey Larry, I am exactly on the same boat, trying to figure out cost to transfer to digibeta and places that people have used in the past and got good results.

As far as what's in a press kit, this will be my first time getting them done so I've heard there are different kinds of press kits. Some just include a description of the project and pictures, i've seen some companies who give cd or dvd-rom in their packages in their press kits or include bios of the director and the cast.

What kind of press kits does everyone on dvxuser gets done?
 
John, what all do you need done? If you just press releases and stuff like that I can do that for you or get my guy to do it for $100. Drop me a PM.

I just need about 50-100 press kits for a film festival I am attending in a few months. Press releases I been doing myself for a while but if your guy can do press kits that would be great.
