hello friends, i just nuked 2 spools of 100' for the sake of testing out different light up scenes. and lens configurations.
these two spools represent a buy-off-private stock, and the guy is out and cant provide any more. my camera's mag can only handle <100' spools.... what do i do?

there is nothing on ebay and i dont have an account with kodak :undecided

No idea where you are located, as you have not included that information in your profile, so we can't help you on a local level.

Aside from buying 100' spools, have you thought about buying 400' or larger rolls and spooling it yourself?

You may not have an account with Kodak, but have you even contacted the sales rep that handles film for your region?

On ebay right now... http://www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_kw=Kodak+Vision+500T+16mm+Movie+Film+2+rolls+x+100ft

Cool, thanks a lot! :)

well, i am located in Vancouver B.C. Canada, and i did not bother contacting a sales rep as i dont have a registered business in that field.
i am more of a hobby film maker wannabe.

Kodak sells to all walks of life, not just professional film makers.

But you better hurry, film won't be around a whole lot longer.

I used to buy a carload full of film a couple of times a year from Kodak in Oak Brook, Illinois, and never had any kind of account with them. Just walked in and asked for what I wanted. (I was a teaching assistant in a filmmaking program. The students had to buy their own film, but I volunteered to consolidate their orders and drive ~140 miles to the Chicago suburbs to pick it up each semester.) I assume it's pretty much the same north of the border.

yeah i know...
and kodak's bankrupcy case makes things die even faster. they wanna sell their film-production assets.
...it is pretty bad.

i just switched from digital to film, haha
...what a bad timing again ^^
