Which mattebox did you get? Did you recieve the one from ebay?

Yep, went for it. . .I got this one. . ..

basically a copycat of http://www.vocas.com/pages/mb200.htm

It took about two weeks. . ..For my purposes I could not justify anything over this price. The product appears pretty solid (for the price) and lighter weight than http://www.indiesnap.com/DVXuser/

Those 2 stand out as super importante. I got mine from Cavision. Cheaper than most as I could not swing the good glass from Tiffen or Schneider. I have been satisfied this far

b&h has an amazing filter selection which is unmatched almost anywhere else in the US.

Jeremy, enlighten us with some of your favorite filters and their main purposes along with your favorite times to use them please. 4 x 4 availability of them would be nice.

Schneider makes a nice starter kit with a high quality polarizer, N.D. and black frost. Comes with a nice pouch.
I think the kit goes for 350$ or something like that.

How well does the black frost work with the HVX?
