OK.. if anybody has any suggestions.. please post them here. I have posted on Craigslist in my local area and have gotten some nibbles.. and I think in another thread, people pointed out an AOL disk collector that may be able to help out (just don't tell him why, he may not want his precious disks hacked up!)

Thanks, if you can help.. I think this deserves its own thread.

They've changed the packaging in my area to rip-open bags :-(

hmm.. I actually put a craigslist advert out for old "semi-translucent" hard sided AOL covers.. I paid $2 for one and just received it yesterday.. I will photograph it before I cut it up.. Im not sure how it will work. I have to clean it..

Seems to me that rather than hunting down old AOL cases you would maybe want to find out the grade and opacity level of the plastic then I would think there has got to be some kind of plastic supplier out there that would sell it to you in sheet form. Or find out who supplied AOL with the CD cases or just look for plastic CD cases on the internet and see if you pull up any that look similar to the AOL case. Sorry this is not an answer just my 2 cents :-)

Good luck!
