Does anyone know where I can buy XLR attenuators in Los Angeles? I need to get two 15db attenuators to hook up to my Left and Right XLR cables running from my Mixpre outs to my H4N XLR inputs. Anyone know where I can find some in Los Angeles?

Also, on a side note, is it okay to plug the attenuators straight into the Mixpre or H4N or do I have to plug them in between two XLR cables? Thanks.

In hollywood there is coffeysound or location sound
but you should be able to find xlr pads in most music stores.

If you can have them shipped there are countless places online starting with music
stores.

Yes you can plug a pad right before the recorder.
