Where can/should you post user videos?

[Speldosa]

There is a section on this forum called "User Films". In the guidelines for this forum, it is stated that

It seems as though this section has become a "catch all" for a number of threads without anything but "watch my video" or "what do you think about this clip?" (These kinds of threads should be in their appropriate clip forum). We would like this section to get back to what it was originally designed for.

That's all good. However, if one wishes to post a "watch my video" or "what do you thing about this clip" thread, where should one do so? Is there even a place for these type of threads?

Generally, if you're looking for feedback, you'd post it either in the forum of the camera you shot it with, or you'd post in one of the filmmaking sections for what you're looking for feedback on -- cinematography, sound, editing, etc.

If you just want people to watch it, you can post in the Cafe, or in the section of the camera you shot it with.
