I am getting ready to shoot my next film short in the fall. Our first meeting is in about a month from now. One of the problems I am facing is props. Does anyone know where and who I can contact for a couple custom props? Is there any place online where people go for that sort of thing? Any suggestions or tips would be helpful. Thanks!

I suppose it depends on what kind of props you need. Lots of places out there.

Dont forget the Props Sticky up above.
My go to place is ISS Props.
To get something made cheaper, you might want to join and contact someone on the Replica Prop Forum. The guys on that forum are just as exacting as the pro prop shops. They do it for fun, for themselves, but maybe someone is willing to make something for you, for a price.

I thank you also for the link to the Replica Prop Forum. I tried to register as a member and the message I got back was "function disabled by the administrator". Wow!
Anyone have any thoughts on why, or if they'll re-open? In the meantime I'll try to contact the admin directly- perhaps they were flooded with spam requests.
Anyway, it looks like good info even in a read-only mode!
