Where can I get a new MF Nikon lens that's around 130mm?

I want to spend less than $200 on a prime lens that's somewhere around 100-150mm.

I have a 28mm, 50mm...so I figure 130mm or so would be a good 3rd lens. I couldn't find any MF ones on b&h photo...any suggestions?

HA under $200? good luck. The MF Nikkor lenses have been going up ever since the RED and Nikon mount came out. I recently saw the 135 F2 goe for over $700 and the 85 1.4 goes for like 650 on ebay. you can try to pick up the 135 3.5or 2.8 for a little less but they are too slow for my taste to use on a adapter.

So do you think I can get by with an AF?

That's why I went with Minolta MD..

I recently bought Soligor 135mm f2.0 MD for 60$ from eBay..

Life is fine..

I'd like to stick with something that fits Nikon so I don't have to get another M2 lens adapter. Are there any cheapo brands that offer 135mm for nikon?

Sure. Do a search on ebay for 135mm. Then refine your search to "fit nikon cameras". Click link below, and it'll take you right there.

Another suggestion for something cheap & good:

Buy an old Carl Zeiss 120mm f/2.8, in Pentacon Six mount, and a Pentacon > Nikon adapter.
These are good lenses, excellent mechanical quality. (I have the 180mm.)
Downside, they are large, and they are not new.

The best lens in this length is probably the Voigtlander 125mm f/2.5 macro, made in Nikon and other mounts. Photozone review. But it's expensive, and rare.

Try camera shops..you will be supprised what you will find there..I bought a couple of lenses that are in excellent condition at a favorable price. In addition to ebay...craigslist is a option.
