Where can I buy the DVX100A???

Even if you DO find it brand new at a store somewhere, I doubt that there was enough margin for them to offer it for more than just a few hundred less than the new B version ... at least not without taking a loss.
 
I can't imagine that you'll find a brand new A for that, unless it's grey market. Your best bet is going to be used, and probably on E-Bay. Wish you'd posted this request a week or so ago, as 235 Studios just sold BOTH of his DVX100a's, which were extremely well cared for & serviced, so that he can get the HVX.

Again, you're going to want to look at used gear, so check around in the Marketplace, or E-Bay.
