Where Can I Buy or Rent a Turntable?

[Jonathan_Healey]

Looking to rent or buy a motorized turntable. Variable speed would be nice. Looking for something that can do a minimum of 20-pounds. Rotating a person would be nice too but not needed. Where can I find professional turntables for sale or rent? I'm not really a DIY'er otherwise I'd use one of the various methods found on DVXuser.com or DigitalJuice. Thanks in advance.

A photographic, PC-controlled model costs >$1K. I used a manual one for a product shoot that cost $100, but not motorized...that same firm, Kaidan, makes a motorized, PC-controlled unit for $350. Might wanna check with some local studios; I know some firms near me who have 'em and would probably allow rentals if you use their studio space as well. Some are big enough for cars!

Thanks atomick. Can anyone else recommend other brands besides Ortery? I'd like to get some comparison.

Thanks. I have a great 21" lazy susan I bought from the Container Store that's served me nicely as a manual turntable. I'm looking to graduate up. By the way... Check out some of the turntable stuff I'm doing.
